LaBelle Winery
LaBelle Winery is situated atop
Chestnut Hill in Amherst, New Hampshire. All of our apples are harvested from
Alyson's Orchard in Walpole, New Hampshire. We set out to make a wine that is
enjoyable – that brings together family and friends around a table to revive
the spirit of community. We also hope to demystify the winemaking process
through educational opportunities, both hands on and through seminars, in the
winter months at the winery.
Our wines reflect the orchard spirit and are made with
apples and other fruits, grown in New Hampshire. The fruits are picked at their
peak and then pressed and fermented the same day, resulting in an exceptionally
fresh, balanced wine. While fermenting at very low temperatures to retain the
fruity qualities, we pay close attention to our acid and residual sugar
balance. The results: fresh, crisp, fruity wine that is easy to drink and enjoy
with friends and family. LaBelle wines are bottled unfiltered to preserve the
natural fruit essence, body and flavor; a small deposit of sediment may be
visible after prolonged aging. We would love to share our passion for
winemaking with you!
Dry Apple ~
Crisp Fresh Light
Small batches of our favorite apple varieties are fermented immediately after
pressing at a low temperature. This preserves the fruity freshness, yet lends a
crisp calvados nose to our flagship wine. A wonderful aperitif, this wine is
also excellent with light meals or to balance a creamy, heavy one. Drink this
dry wine as you would any white wine – best chilled and enjoyed between 55° and
60°. LaBelle Wines are bottled unfiltered to preserve the natural fruit

Heirloom Apple
~ Robust Fruity Floral
This unique wine is made with only our celebrated heirloom apples. Their
historically valued characteristics yield a more complex wine, replete with
floral notes of roses and tulips. This wine is excellent as an aperitif, with a
light meal, and superb with turkey and ham. Drink this wine as you would any
white wine – best chilled and enjoyed between 55° and 60°. LaBelle Wines are

Granite State Apple
~ Crisp Subtly Sweet Fruity
Apples and maple syrup are popular co-stars in the New England food basket. In
this specialty wine we add a touch of locally produced maple syrup to our fresh
apple wine made from select, slow-fermented New Hampshire apples. Serve this
delicacy at room temperature or slightly chilled to compliment dessert or a
cheese course. LaBelle wines are bottled unfiltered to preserve the natural

Jalepeno Wine
~ Spicy Fresh Bold
Made from local jalapeño peppers, this wine is excellent in salsas, marinades,
dips, guacamole, dressings, fajitas and especially good as a vodka substitute in
a Bloody Mary! This wine is very hot and spicy so drink at your own risk!

Granite State Red ~ Rich
Velvety Smooth
In this rich, velvety decadence, we combine wine made from ripe blueberries and
the French hybrid red grape Marechol Foch to create a uniquely New England red
wine. Displaying a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe berries and plums, on
the palate it is silky smooth with berry flavors, floral notes, and soft
tannins. Perfectly balanced, this wine is neither sweet nor tart, and is
excellent with rich, spicy main courses, sweet desserts, or for sipping in front
of a roaring fire. LaBelle wines are bottled unfiltered to preserve the natural

Seyval Blanc
~ Elegant Delicate Refined
In this elegant, fruity wine, we slow-fermented grapes, resulting in a delicate
and beautiful wine, replete with floral, fruity notes and soft tannins.
Excellent as an aperitif or with a light meal, this is a perfect wine to drink
on a warm summer evening. Enjoy this wine chilled to between 55° and 60°.
