Alyson’s Orchard, rooted in the rich glacial soil of the Connecticut River Valley, thrives in Walpole, NH. On 450 acres of endless beauty, Alyson’s offers apples, peaches, plums, pears, nectarines and berries. Apples, by far, are out largest crop with over 50 varieties; including many Heirlooms (varieties that have been in cultivation for more than 75 years). During your visit, stop by our seasonal farm stand where you will find a variety of local products. Visit the goats, let your kids enjoy the playground or play a game of Bocce ball on our court nearby. During the Pick-Your-Own season, weekend wagon rides are available to take you around the orchard.
Alyson’s wholesome fruit is grown using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) – an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices resulting in the least possible hazard to people, property and the environment. IPM Programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means.
The Orchard was started in 1981 with the guiding hands of Susan and Bob Jasse. First established as a family retreat, Alyson’s has evolved over the years in to a working PYO orchard, as well as a private getaway for weddings, special events and lodging. We have several outdoor wedding sites, an indoor reception hall that can accommodate 250 people, and country elegant lodging. Beautiful private ponds for fishing and swimming, and fun picnics, make Alyson’s a memorable destination for all of your guests.
